OREANDA-NEWS. January 18, 2010. The Port of Primorsk in Leningrad region reports it handled 79.1 million tons of commodities in recent calendar year, a year-over-year 5% growth. The volume of transshipment of crude oil at the port amounted to 74 million 895.2 thousand tons, the rest volume falls on diesel fuel.

Primorsk Commercial Sea Port is the largest port for export oil and oil products in the Russian North-West region. Throughput of the port in 2008 was reported at 75 thousand 581.9 tons of handled oil and diesel fuel.
