OREANDA-NEWS. January 19, 2010. Belarus’ gross domestic product (GDP) expanded 0.2% on the year in January-December 2009 to 136.8 trillion Belarusian rubles (Br), an official with Belarus’ Statistics Ministry told.

Industrial output in January-December decreased 2.8% on the year to 123.2 trillion rubles.

Farm output rose 1.3% to 26.5 trillion rubles.

In 2008, Belarus’ GDP grew 10% on the year to 128.8 trillion Belarusian rubles. Industrial output amounted to 127.5 trillion rubles, up 10.8% on the year. Farm output increased 8.9% to 26.9 trillion rubles.
