OREANDA-NEWS. January 19, 2010. Gomel-based Comintern clothing producer has resumed export to Ukraine, for first time in the post-Soviet period.

The first two consignments of men’s suits, jackets, and trousers to the tune of more than \\$54,000 have already been dispatched. The next consignment is due to be shipped in late January.

Belarus-made menswear and accessories, including those of Comintern are promoted on the Ukrainian market by the Belresursy-Ukraine company. This joint Belarusian-Ukrainian company is authorized by the Belresursy state-owned enterprise.

The Comintern suits can be bought at the Syabry chain stores in Kyiv and Rovno. There are plans to sell the Comintern products in Ivano-Frankivsk, Poltava, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Odessa, Khmelnytskyi, etc.

Comintern exports goods to the Russian Federation and Estonia. The company is now considering the export to Kazakhstan and Poland.

Comintern is one of the oldest and biggest enterprises of the Belarusian light industry. The company produces about 30,000 descriptions of men’s and children’s suits, jackets and trousers.
