SB Sberbank is opening its twelfth office in Kazakhstan. A Sberbank's office in Petropavlovsk is a positive sign that Russian partners trust in investment attractiveness of the region.

Petropavlovsk, 75 km from Russia, is a center of the Northern Kazakhstan, the bank's presence is strategically important. A new office of the largest Russian lender in Petropavlovsk is a good indicator of quality and level of economical and political relations between Kazakhstan and Russian, and a demonstration the two bordering states understand a necessity to further work together to stabilize and develop the economy.

"The Northern Kazakhstan is currently one of the most prospective national areas due to specifics of the region. This is why the bank deems its presence in the region as a big and important step, - SB Sberbank chairman Oleg Smirnov said. - We feel responsible as successful operation of the Petropavlovsk office may contribute largely into integration of the two states. It is clear SB Sberbank Rossii is an ideal partner to develop the two bordering economies".
