OREANDA-NEWS. January 20, 2010. A ceremonial opening of the specialized children’s clinic in the very center of Moscow on Myasnitskaya Street, 13, bldg. 13-13a-14 took place within the framework of the implementation of Ingosstrach OJSIC project to develop the network of its own Be Healthy medical centers. Investments in the establishment of the pediatric clinic amounted to USD 5 million.

Like other clinics of the Be Healthy network, the new medical institution is equipped with the state-of-the-art equipment treatment and diagnostic equipment, for instance, Shiller blood pressure monitor, the cutting edge O.M.S. dental equipment, Fukada cardiograph, Toshiba ultrasonic equipment, etc. X-ray, ultrasonic, electro-cardiovascular and other types of diagnostics are carried out there within the shortest time span. The own extensive laboratory base provides an opportunity to carry out all types of medical research including hormonal, immunology, allergology, etc. The clinic staff consists of the certified doctors of all core specialties.

The specific feature of the new children’s clinic is a wide range of the clinic-based medical programs for kids and teenagers offered by Ingosstrakh. These programs provide for not only standard outpatient and dental services (including the home nursing of newborns, scheduled vaccination and home medical aid), but also a possibility to get an extended spectrum of services, which especially include massage and manual therapy without restrictions, psychoneurologist’s and speech therapist’s consultations, additional dental services, medical examination to issue certificates for the swimming pool and medical records of the therapeutic resort.

Additionally, the clients are offered a special children’s program, which, apart from the standard outpatient aid, includes supervision of the attending pediatrician of the Be Healthy clinic and also primarily home visits of medical specialists: fulfillment of medical prescriptions, vaccination and collection of materials for medical analyses.

The clinic works daily from 8 am to 9 pm.  At the initial stage, it can receive maximum 250 little patients, but this number will grow.  Both clients of Ingosstrakh and all willing persons may be served here. Many processes are automated to the maximum to increase the efficiency and quality of services. For instance, electronic appointments and electronic case history containing all results of consultations, examinations and analyses are provided for, which allow to save time and control the quality of rendering medical aid.

Let us remember that Ingosstrakh launched the project to create an own network of medical institutions for rendering services under the voluntary medical insurance agreements in 2007, when the company acquired two Be Healthy clinics in Moscow. In 2009 the insurer opened three new medical centers: in Saratov on Vavilova Street, 23/25, in Saint Petersburg on Ligovsky Prospect, 274 А, and in Moscow on Posledny Lane, 28. Investments in these three clinics exceeded 500 million rubles in total.
