OREANDA-NEWS. January 22, 2010. The first 250,000 square metres of housing are to be commissioned in the fields of Lyubertsy, the town to the southeast of Moscow, in the first half of 2010.

The construction of residential buildings in the area of the former Lyubertsy fields will start in the near future. The design documentation for the first stage of the development has been completely elaborated.

Moscow’s first deputy mayor Vladimir Resin said that the biggest neighbourhood [within Moscow and its region] would undergo two stages of development and the first one foresaw the construction of half a million square metres.

According to the principle of all-inclusive development of new areas, all the necessary civil engineering, transport and social infrastructures will be developed simultaneously with the housing construction.

Mr Resin emphasized that when the development was over the Lyubertsy fields would turn into one of the most convenient neighbourhoods to live in.
