OREANDA-NEWS. January 25, 2010. Ural Airlines has summed up the results of December and the whole year 2009.

During the last month the airline carried 105 029 passengers, 35 percent more year-on-year. That figure included 21 768 international, 65 917 domestic and 17 344 CIS flight passengers.

In December we carried out 1 061 flights, an increase of 35 percent YoY: 194 international, 671 domestic and 196 CIS flights. Ural Airlines also carried 849 metric tonnes of cargo. Actual passenger turnover in December amounted to 278 676 000 passenger-kilometres, and the seat occupancy rate was 60.4 percent.
During the whole year of 2009, Ural Airlines carried 1 497 443 passengers, or 3 percent more than in the preceding year. There were 622 652 international, 702 727 domestic and 172 064 CIS passengers. The number of flights in January-December: 13 548 (4 086 international, 7 634 domestic, 1 828 to CIS destinations), or 11 percent more than in 2008. The amount of cargo transported in 2009: 6 576 metric tonnes, or 113 percent of the 2008 volume. Seat occupancy rate: 67 percent. Actual passenger turnover: 4 035 917 000 passenger-kilometres.
