OREANDA-NEWS. January 25, 2010. National Energy Company ‘Ukrenergo’ sold 250 MW electricity transmission capacities to 2 companies for UAH 2.638 m at the auction for electricity export in February 2010.

The respective capacities were sold at the auction on Tuesday.

Lots № 1-4 were sold at the auction. These lots provide for the electricity export from Burshtyn island TPP to European countries, while lots №5-19 were removed from the auction due to the lack of applications for them.

The first lot of 100MW guaranteed capacity was sold for UAH 1.055 m to Ukrinterenergo SE.

The second lot of 50MW guaranteed capacity was sold to DTEK Vostokenergo generating company for UAH 0.528 m.

The third lot of 50MW non-guaranteed capacity was also sold to DTEK Vostokenergo for UAH 0.528 m.

The forth lot of 50MW non-guaranteed capacity was also sold to Ukrinterenergo for UAH 0.528 m.

In general there were 3 participants in the auction: DTEK Vostokenergo, Ukrinterenergo and Corlea Invest Ukraine CJSC.

As the agency reported, on 22.12.2009 Ukrenergo sold 100 MW capacity for electricity transmission from Burshtyn island TPP to European countries to DTEK Vostokenergo for UAH 3 563 752, and 150MW to Ukrinterenergo for UAH 4 545 628 respectively, at the auction for access to the throughput capacity of cross-border electric networks for electricity transportation from 01.01.2010 to 31.01.2010 (monthly auction).
