OREANDA-NEWS. January 26, 2010. Andrey Savchuk, EuroChem’s Director of Distribution and Sales in Russia and the CIS, and Aleksandr Manakov, Agricultural Minister of the Stavropol Territory, signed an agreement today on supplying agricultural producers of the Stavropol Territory with mineral fertilizers for the 2010 farming season.

During this year, EuroChem will supply the Stavropol Territory with 190,000 tons of chemicals, starting with 54,000 tons in January and February. The Agreement provides for more mineral fertilizer supplies in the event of higher demand.

The Company intends to develop its official distribution network to supply mineral fertilizers to agricultural producers in the Stavropol Territory based on a customer self-delivery arrangement from agrochemical storage facilities located within the Territory, or railway deliveries of at least one carload of fertilizers from Nevinnomysskiy Azot.

In addition, EuroChem has committed to apply market pricing principles when supplying chemicals to agricultural producers in the Stavropol Territory. The company will not set its mineral fertilizer prices higher than those prescribed by the Russian Association of Fertilizer Producers per the Agreement on Interaction for Satisfying Mineral Fertilizer Demand in the Domestic Agroindustrial Market from 2008 to 2012, dated 17 October 2008.
