OREANDA-NEWS. January 27, 2010. Belarus’ imports of soft drinks and mineral water decreased year-on-year in January-November 2009, according to the State Customs Committee.

Imports of soft drinks, including mineral water, still or aerated, with sugar or sweeteners were at 5.258 million decaliters in the period, down 45% on the year, worth USD 36.542 million, down 36.3%.

Belarus imported 3.982 million decaliters of drinks of this type from Russia, down 34.5%, worth USD 27.814 million, a decrease of 23.7%.

Imports from Ukraine were at 1.208 million decaliters, down 2.8 times, worth USD 7.318 million, down 2.9 times.

Imports of water, including natural or artificial mineral water, still or aerated, without sugar or sweeteners were at 624,022 decaliters, down 15.8% on the year in January-November 2009, worth USD 2.94 million, down 4.9% year-on-year.
