OREANDA-NEWS. February 01, 2010. Official delegation of Korean national gas corporation "KOGAS" headed by its president Mr. Chu Kan Su paid a visit to Nakhodka. During this visit, the guests held negotiations with local authorities and visited the specialized oil-loading sea port "Kozmino".

Official delegation of Korean national gas corporation "KOGAS" was welcomed by the first deputy Head of Nakhodka city district Boris GLADKIH at the City Hall. Greeting the guests, he noted close cooperation between Nakhodka and the Republic of Korea in different spheres.

Joint project with Korean national gas corporation "KOGAS" can lead to deeper cooperation between both sides. According to "KOGAS" president Mr. Chu Kan Su, the corporation is ready to invest financial means into the construction of branch pipes of the main gas pipeline "Sakhalin-Khabarovsk-Vladivostok" with a purpose of gasification of different districts of Primorsky Krai including Nakhodka city district.

Mr. Chu Kan Su also expressed an interest of the corporation "KOGAS" in implementation of project on switching the city transport to liquefied gas, if such project is worked out on local level.

After negotiations at the City Hall had ended, members of official delegation accompanied by the deputy Head of Nakhodka city district on construction industry Sergey STROYEV visited the specialized oil-loading sea port "Kozmino".
