OREANDA-NEWS. February 08, 2010. Belarusian food concern Belgospischeprom plans to increase exports 30% on the year in 2010 to USD 479 million, chairman of the concern Ivan Danchenko told a board meeting of the concern.

It is planned to export 500,000 tonnes of sugar, up 16.3%, worth USD 300 million, 54,000 tonnes of brewer’s malt, up 5 times, worth USD 19.2 million, up 4.2 times, 2 million decaliters of liquors, up 5.3 times, totaling USD 8.8 million, up3.2 times, 3 million decaliters of beer, up 2.3 times, worth USD 12 million, twice as much as in 2009, and 465 million cigarettes, up 12 times, to the amount of USD 4 million, up 12 times.

The concern plans to start dry skimmed milk to Egypt, South Africa and United Arab Emirates, dry milk and alcohol to Korea, canned vegetable to Switzerland and white sugar to Afghanistan in 2010.

In 2009, members of the concern increased exports 16.5% to USD 386.6 million.
