One of the largest financial institutions of the Kazakhstan Halyk Savings Bank of Kazakhstan started providing services on money transfer through the Western Union system

Almaty, Kazakhstan, February 8, 2010. - One of the largest universal banks of the Republic of Kazakhstan Halyk Savings Bank of Kazakhstan started providing services on money transfer through the Western Union system via its affiliates.
                                   
At the first phase of this service Western Union will provide 50 clearance units in 14 oblast and 8 regional affiliates of Halyk Savings Bank of Kazakhstan.

The agreement on international money transfers was signed between Western Union and Halyk Savings Bank of Kazakhstan in 2009.

According to joint plans services of Western Union in the future will become accessible in 595 divisions of the largest retail bank of Kazakhstan, located in 16 regions of the country. The agreement will ensure access of Halyk Bank clients to Western Union services in more than 410,000 services provision points of Western Union, covering 200 countries worldwide.
