OREANDA-NEWS. February 11, 2010. TMM-Energobud industrial complex (currently being prepared for launch in Malynyvka town, Kharkiv region) has concluded its first steam pipelines production agreement. Under the agreement concluded with Energoproekt CJSC (Russia) TMM-Energobud is to supply steam pipelines for realization of a new 225-megawatt power generating unit project at Kharanorskaya state district power station where Energoproekt acts a s a general contractor. The capacity of the new unit will make up for the deficit arising in the region after the accident at Sayano-Shushenskaya hydro electric power station.

TMM-Energobud industrial complex for manufacturing of high-pressure steam pipelines for thermal and nuclear power stations is soon to be launched. Start-up programmes of the project's equipment have been finished, first samples of production are currently undergoing certification. The first stage of TMM-Energobud industrial complex construction has been finished at the end of 2009. "T.M.M."- LLC acts as a general contractor of the project construction.

The project of a production facility for manufacturing of high-pressure steam pipelines for thermal and nuclear power stations is being realized by TMM-Energobud CJSC, a company comprising TMM Group. The production capacity of the complex allows covering the needs for thermal and nuclear power in the amount of not less than 12 thousand tons a year, thus replacing the import of similar products. At full capacity, the industrial complex would allow to create 500 new jobs.

No similar industrial complex has ever been built on the territory of CIS or Europe before – one facility comprises the full cycle of pipeline production and mounted inductive pipe-bending machines for the pipes with the diameter up to 1200 mm. Implemented technologies will allow using modern high-quality bendings instead of outdated forged elbows. This will also allow bending large diameter pipes with thick walls at any angle decreasing the number of welded joints by 20-25% and increasing the efficiency of power generating units, energy saving and durability of the pipeline systems as a whole.
