OREANDA-NEWS. February 12, 2010. As it was informed in the Ministry of Economy, the forum will be attended by the Ministers of Economy, Trade and Economic Development of 11 Balkan countries, as well as the ambassadors, diplomats and advisers.

The goal of the forum, organized by the Italian government, is to strengthen diplomatic and economic relations with these countries for future EU enlargement. During the plenary session Valeriu Lazar will deliver a speech, which will emphasize investment opportunities of Moldova.

In addition, there will be many meetings with the Italian businessmen interested in Moldova, as well as with representatives of the Moldovan Diaspora in the region. During the event, the parties will discuss economic issues of common interest regarding the investment and export promotion, both at the level of the central public administration institutions, and at the level of the Italian companies interested in expanding the production processes in the South-eastern Europe. The forum's agenda includes the discussion of issues related to agro-food sector, logistics, financial instruments and European integration, international trade.
