OREANDA-NEWS. February 12, 2010. The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) fined "Elektroset" OJSC (of Mytischi, the Moscow region) 200,000 Rubles for breaching the Information Disclosure Standards, approved by No.24 Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation for participants of wholesale and retail markets of electric energy, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

Investigating the antimonopoly case, FAS Russia discovered that "Elektroset" OJSC was breaching the deadlines for publishing information in electronic media, including the company's official site, as specified in the Information Disclosure Standards.

Under Clause 8 of the Information Disclosure Standards, participants of electric power markets of electric power bear responsibility for completeness and reliability of disclosed information in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation.

Under Article 9.15 of the Code of the Russian Federation on Administrative Violations participants of wholesale markets of electric energy and power or retail markets of electric energy bear administrative liability for breaching the procedures, methods or deadlines for publishing information in printed publications, which according to the federal laws and the laws of constituent territories of the Russian Federation publish official materials of public authorities, in electronic media, as well as the procedures, methods or deadlines for providing information upon a written request of interested persons, as specified in the Information Disclosure Standards: an administrative fine for officials - from 20,000 to 30,000 Rubles; for legal entities - from 200,000 to 500,000 Rubles.
