OREANDA-NEWS. February 15, 2010. The Group says that trade network’s problems are linked with the fact that already 22 months they have expected a loan from and the Black Sea Trade & Development Bank (BSTDB).

“The BSTDB that extended consideration of the project in connection with the global crisis is finishing preparation for loan disbursal. It remains for us only to present conclusion on Company’s audit,” the Group said.

The size f the loan has remained unchanged - US9.5 million.

“The first tranche (US 6.5 million) of the loan will be directed for restoration of floating capital and restructuring of debts at the internal market. The second tranche is designed for network’s development,” the Group said.

Their internal debts were made in waiting of the BSTDB loan.

“Their level is quite manageable,” the Group indicated.

Recently ADA Group made a decision to restructure the network of supermarkets in the country.

According to the decision two Almali supermarkets will change their location.

Today Almali network consists of 41 supermarkets and keeps remaining the largest retail trade network in Azerbaijan.

ADA was established in September 2005 for the purpose of creation of a modern network of food supermarkets in Baku and regions of Azerbaijan. Currently the country is numbering 40 its stores and by 2010 their quantity is expected to reach 48. The ADA Group shareholders are IFC and Russian shareholders with Azerbaijani management participation.
