OREANDA-NEWS. February 17, 2010. IBS has once again been confirmed as Cisco Gold Certified Partner. IBS has held Cisco's top partner status in Russia invariably since 2002, which evidences a high level of staff competence and marks the company's success in developing its IT infrastructure business, reported the press-centre of IBS.

An audit has confirmed that IBS fully meets the Cisco Gold Certified Partner requirements of the Cisco partner programme, some of the core requirements being expertise on Cisco products and solutions, a track record of successful projects and the capability to provide customers with complex integration solutions.

Having had more than 14 years of cooperation with Cisco, IBS boasts a big team of vendor-certified professionals and a streamlined system of service delivery, which enables it to offer solutions and services based on the entire range of Cisco products and technologies.

Last year IBS was one of the first Russian companies that passed the Cisco TelePresence certification. Using Cisco TelePresence solutions requires a high level of skills, therefore the vendor entrusts such projects only to certified partners having specially trained in-house professionals. Last year IBS completed a big Cisco TelePresence system implementation project for the Federal Agency for Management of Special Economic Zones, which later became part of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade.

There were other major government and business IBS customers that used Cisco products in 2009 (the Siberian Federal University, Moscow University of Physics and Technology, Northern Sea Route Bank (SMP Bank)).

IBS is the leader in the Russian IT and consulting market. It is part of IBS Group Holding Limited, along with Luxoft. Its core lines of business span management consulting, implementation of business applications, IT outsourcing and IT infrastructure. IBS headcount is about 3,000 employees including over 1,500 certified consultants and professionals. IBS customer base includes 34 of Russia’s top 50 companies.
