OREANDA-NEWS. February 17, 2010. In 2009 IDGC of Centre, JSC performed 21 023 contracts for technological connection (TC) to power grids of the Company of individuals and legal entities. Number of performed contracts increased by 30,26 % compared with 2008. In 2009 consumers’ electrical installations of total capacity of 445,62 MW were connected to the grids of the Company. TC proceeds for 2009 amounted to nearly 1,65 bln Rubles.

Last year IDGC of Centre received 29 916 applications for technological connection to power grids of the Company — this is nearly by 10 % more than in 2008. The Company concluded 26 559 contracts for technological connection of total capacity of more than 707 MW, this exceeds the indicator of 2008 by 13,16 % — mainly owing to increased number of applications from individuals.

Changes in the Rules of technological connection to power grids were approved by the Resolutions of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 119 dated February 14, 2009 and No. 334 dated April 21, 2009. Apart from individuals legal entities with applications for connected capacity up to 15 kW are related now to preferential category with payment for service in the amount of 550 Rubles. When putting in the application for capacity from 15 kW up to 100 kW by legal entities, payment by installments up to 95% of value of a contract for technological connection is provided for the term up to three years.

The Company appropriates all funds obtained from technological connection to connection of power receivers of legal entities and individuals to power grids. However, preferential policy leads to shortfall in income of the Company. The Company covers lack of funds for technological connection of preferential groups of applicants by means of raising credits. It is forecasted that in 2009-2010 volume of shortfall in income of the Company from the activity on technological connection will exceed 1,2 bln Rubles.
