OREANDA-NEWS. February 17, 2010. The largest telecom operator in the Southern Federal district "UTK" PJSC and the mobile operator SkyLink offer the first in the Southern federal district convergent project that will allow to solve problems of small and middle-size businesses using both fixed-line and mobile communication as well as to provide Internet access services in localities where it is not technically possible to use broadband access.

Within the framework of the joint project UTK and SkyLink offered new tariff plans and discounts for subscribers using simultaneously wired and mobile Internet access on the basis of ADSL and EV-DO technologies, as well as integrated services of fixed-line and mobile communication.

In addition to traditional wired Internet access citizens of Krasnodar have got an opportunity to use high-speed Internet access based on EV-DO technology. Subscription fee for the tariff plan "DiSeL-FLY" is 200 rubles, monthly subscriber fee is 500 rubles. Additional service FLY – wireless Internet access can be provided to DiSel subscribers of UTK’s Krasnodar branch who wish to use both wired and mobile Internet access. Subscription fee of this additional service with a RUIM-card is 210 rubles and the price of incoming traffic is 2.70 rubles per 1Мb.

The service “Fixed Mobile Phone” integrates fixed-line and mobile telephone services. Incoming calls of such subscribers go to a seven-digit fixed-line number that is especially convenient for business clients and for advertising. Besides, this service solves the problem dealing with different price of calls at different mobile operators allowing subscribers to pay a single fee and optimize their telecom expenses. Two options of this service are available – fixed phone and mobile phone.

The project is being implemented within the framework of the Cooperation agreement between UTK and SkyLink signed in February 2008. Longer term, the companies plan to expand bundled service options and provide joint telecom solutions. According to Commercial Director of UTK Ruslan Tanashev, the Company plans to continue development of services based on convergence of mobile and fixed-line technologies.
