OREANDA-NEWS. March 3, 2010. According to preliminary data for 2009, the total amount of premiums collected by Ingosstrakh OJSIC in the Central Federal District of the Russian Federation amounted to 33.4 bln rubles, 8.0% more than the same indicator for the previous year.

The amount of premiums for voluntary insurance other than life insurance is 30.1 bln rubles (more than 7.6% growth), including 4.2 bln rubles for personal insurance (3.8% growth), 23.2 bln rubles for property insurance (7.1% growth), 2.7 bln rubles for motor third party liability insurance (19.2% growth). Insurance premiums collected for compulsory motor third party liability insurance (CMTPL) amounted to 3.3 bln rubles (12.4% growth).

Indemnity paid by Ingosstrakh OJSIC in the Central Region for direct insurance in the 12 months of 2009 amounted to 21.7 bln rubles, including 4.5 bln rubles for voluntary personal insurance, 15.1 bln rubles for property insurance, 0.6 bln rubles for voluntary motor third party liability insurance. CMPTL indemnity payments amounted to 1.5 bln rubles.

Voluntary motor third party liability insurance and CMPTL insurance were the business segments with the most dynamic development in Ingosstrakh OJSC’s branches in the Central Federal District.

The region leader for the collected premiums is Moscow, with 31.5 bln rubles; the Moscow Region is in second place with 424 mln rubles; premiums collected in the Voronezh region amount to 342 mln rubles. Premiums paid by Ingosstrakh in these regions amount to 20.4 bln rubles, 214 mln rubles and 219 mln rubles respectively.
