OREANDA-NEWS. March 04, 2010. Alfa-Bank was a mandated arranger in the USD60 mln syndicated loan to Belarusbank (Minsk), which was attracted in order to finance trading activities, reported the press-centre of Alfa-Bank.

Intesa Sanpaolo S.p.A.  and VTB Bank were the primary mandated arrangers.

Other participants in the loan were: OTP Bank plc. (mandated arranger); FBN Bank (UK) Ltd., London Forfaiting Company Limited, Investtorgbank (lead managers); AKA Ausfuhrkredit-Gesellschaft m.b.H., and Atlantic Forfaitierungs AG (co-managers).

Owing to strong investor demand, the total loan amount was increased to USD 60 mln.

The syndicated loan facility consists of two parts: a six-month tranche (which could be extended by a further six months) and a 12-month tranche.
