OREANDA-NEWS. March 05, 2010. The statement made by an entrepreneur at a meeting with the Russian President Dmitry Medvedev that the Head of FAS Russia Igor Artemyev "publicly named the winners before the results of selecting" five electronic sites for open auctions in an electronic form " were announced" is contrary to the fact, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

On 19th January 2010, the Government Commission on Administrative Reform, having heard the report of the Ministry of Economic Development, summarized the outcome of selecting electronic trading sites for open auctions in an electronic form.

According to No.95 Protocol of the meeting of the Government Commission on Administrative Reform of 19th January 2010, the winners were five sites - electronic trading sites of the Governments of Moscow and the Tatarstan Republic, the Savings Bank of Russia, Russian Trading System and the Moscow Interbank Currency Exchange.

On 25th January 2010 at a scheduled press-conference organized by the "Moskovsky Komsomolets" newspaper regarding preliminary results of the work of FAS Russia in 2009, Igor Artemyev, answering a journalist' question, told about the decision made by the Government Commission on Administrative Reform to select five electronic sites.

Therefore, information that the Head of FAS Russia announced future winners beforehand is contrary to the fact.
