OREANDA-NEWS. March 05, 2010. JSC Aeroflot Russian Airlines has presented a new in-flight menu for its Summer Schedule (starting March 27, 2010), reported the press-centre of Aeroflot.

Aeroflot collaborates with CJSC Aeromar to revamp its menu each four months. The company’s special panel and other experts run sample deputations of new starters, soups, desserts, main courses from meat, fish and poultry, as well as side dishes. During the deputations the panel approved over 70 items. The starters and main courses use some new ingredients such as swordfish and smoke-dried tuna fish, raw-smoked turkey, bresaola beef, cooked-and-smoked turkey, mini sandwiches on new premium-class breads.

The company has decided to treat its customers by rotating the business-class menu once every two months, and economy-class menu every month. To address this innovation, two menu versions for business class and four for the economy class were prepared. Passengers can now enjoy scallops from Worcestershire sauce marinated beef, veal steak in Calvados sauce, beef bourguignon with baby potatoes, banana mousse, vanilla ice-cream with mango sauce and many other delicatessen.

Experts from Aeroflot and Aeromar offer passengers a wide selection of quality meals and create genuine masterpieces of cuisine, which puts a flight with Aeroflot next to a restaurant visit.
