OREANDA-NEWS. March 09, 2010. The Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation (Minenergo Russia) informed the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) on withdrawing No.460 Order (approving the forms of modular schemes for technological connection of facilities with a capacity of 15 - 100 kW), which had violated the antimonopoly law, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

Earlier FAS Russia received numerous petitions from physical and legal persons about possible violations of antimonopoly law by network organizations applying modular schemes for technological connection of power receivers, which had not been approved in accordance with the statutory procedures.

Verifying this information, FAS Russia established that No.460 Order of Minenergo Russia and the forms of modular schemes for technological connection, approved by the Order, contravened the law of the Russian Federation on electric power industry and the Rules for technological connection of power receivers possessed by consumers of electric energy.

FAS Russia sent recommendations to Minenergo Russia how to eliminate the antimonopoly violations (Part 1 Article 15 of the Federal Law "On Protection of Competition"): withdrawing No.460 Order of Minenergo Russia.

Minenergo Russia withdrew No.460 Order as well as notified FAS Russia that in the near future the new draft Order on approving the forms of modular schemes for technological connection would be forwarded to FAS Russia and the Federal Service for Environmental, Technological and Nuclear Supervision (Rostechnadzor) for their consideration.
