OREANDA-NEWS. March 12, 2010. The Stavropol Scientific and Research Institute of Agriculture hosted the first educational seminar this year, traditionally organised by EuroChem for specialists from its agricultural centres all over Russia (EuroChem Agro-Network).

Twenty representatives of the company’s agricultural centres took part in the seminar. The main topics for discussion were innovations, EuroChem products and their application to specific soils and various crops, crop protection, types and hybrids of crops. Among the speakers were scientists from Russian research institutes that are members of the Association of Corn Producers.

Seminar participants also learned about new crop protection compounds and methods sugar beet, grain crops and potatoes, crop protection compounds for grain crops, fruit-and-berry and vegetable crops, new methods for the protection of sunflower, new crop-protection and fungicides for the treatment of crop plants, as well as corn and sunflower hybrids.
