OREANDA-NEWS. March 16, 2010. The Swedish Economic Growth and Regional Development Agency addressed to some developing countries, including Moldova, with an offer to present its projects for participation in this initiative.

The DemoEnvironment initiative is the instrument of funding provided by Swedish authorities as a grant for purchasing modern equipment and a technological transfer, implementation of which will contribute to environment protection, efficient waste management, energy conservation, use of renewable resources and protection from polluters, it was informed at the Ministry of Economy’s press service.

Central and local authorities, private organizations and companies of the country may be beneficiaries of the grants. The selection will be carried out twice a year – in spring and autumn.
