OREANDA-NEWS. March 16, 2010. It was said at the press conference that 85% of objects had been registered and about 15% - evaluated by now.

The Land Affairs and Cadastre Agency’s Director Vasilii Gramma said USD14 million are needed to complete the real estate registration and evaluation process. The country can receive them as a foreign assistance.

In this respect, the Agency sent an inquiry to the Ministry of Finance. Gramma said 11 million leis (USD864 thousand) had been allocated from the budget in 2010 after a 2-year break for registration and evaluation of the real estate, enabling to register and issue certificates for the right of ownership of houses and adhering lands in 11 populated localities.

The state enterprise Cadastru’s database currently includes over 4.5 million real estate objects. The cadastre works are to be carried out in another 650 populated localities, with 750 thousand ownership right certificates supposed to be issued.
