OREANDA-NEWS. March 17, 2010. SEI Tallinn Centre (www.seit.ee)  and Consumetric signed cooperation agreement  with the objective to develop sustainable tourism clusters in Estonia, as part of the EMASeasy MOVE-IT! project led by SEI Tallinn Centre, reported the press-centre of Consumetric.

EMASeasy MOVE-IT! is an international project which is financed by European Union’s CIP competitiveness and innovation programme. Project activities are implemented in 7 countries: Estonia, Belgium, Germany, Cyprus, Bulgaria, France and Spain. Project lead partner is SEI Tallinn Centre.  Objectives of the 3-year project are to direct small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) towards eco-efficiency, sustainability  and corporate social responsibility (CSR). This will be accomplished via implementation of innovative environmental management systems, including EMAS.  As part of the project, value-added tourism enterprise clusters will be created and engaged in project activities.

Consumetric  will participate in the project in the capacity of tourism industry experts, in order to ensure correspondence of project activities with tourism industry needs and opportunities, and to maximize project benefits for participating tourism enterprises.
