OREANDA-NEWS. March 26, 2010. OAO PhosAgro, a Russian producer of crop nutrients, agreed to supply 1 million metric tons of complex nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium fertilizer to Indian Farmers Fertilizer Cooperative Ltd.

PhosAgro is the first foreign producer to sign a one-year contract to supply so-called NPK fertilizer to India, the Moscow-based company said today in an e-mailed statement. PhosAgro, Russia's largest producer of phosphate-based fertilizer, agreed a USD 1.5 billion three-year deal earlier this month to supply diammonium phosphate, or DAP, to India.
