OREANDA-NEWS. March 29, 2010. Belarusian beer output decreased 10.9% on the year in January-February 2010 to 4.5 million decaliters, told the National Statistics Committee.

In value terms, beer output totaled 83.8 billion Belarusian rubles (Br), down 28.1%.

In February, beer output fell 13.4% on the year to 2.2 million decaliters. In value terms, beer production dropped 30.4% to Br 43.1 billion.

Beer inventories were at 1.5 million decaliters as of March 1, 2010, 65% of the average monthly output, worth Br 54.1 billion, 130.3% of the average monthly output.

Beer sale increased 15.2% on the year in January-February to 3.962 million decaliters.
