OREANDA-NEWS. March 30, 2010. As of 1 March 2010 DemirBank’s assets reached AZN 264.9 million that exceeds the 2009 same term index by 50.7 million or 23.7%.

The Ban reports that loan portfolio increased this year by AZN 16.9 million up to AZN 178.9 million.

“Overall amount of customer deposits as of 1 March 2010 totaled AZN 89.9 million and household deposits 75.5 million (rise of 73.3% or AZN 31.9 million).

As of 1 March 2010 DemirBank’s charter capital amounted to AZN 18.4 million while total regulatory capital reached AZN 48.2 million.

One of the first banks of Azerbaijan, DemirBank (formerly called Azerdemiryolbank) started its operations in October 1989. Shareholders of the Banks include large international financial institutions, such as European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and Netherlands Development Finance Company (FMO).
