OREANDA-NEWS. April 02, 2010. Air Moldova expands its route network, starting on May, 16, 2010 a new flight Chisinau- Kyiv-Chisinau. Flights will be operated on a regional type of the aircraft Embraer 120.

Air Moldova, has received finally the permission of the Ukrainian aviation authorities to operate scheduled flights on the route Chisinau- Kyiv although the company filed on March 2, 2010 all documentation required by existing rules which is necessary for obtaining it.

Flights will be operated with a frequency of 3 times a week - on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. For the convenience of passengers the company planned to operate flights in the morning with departure from Chisinau at 08:30 am.

All passengers of the inaugural flight Chisinau – Kyiv which will be operated on May, 16, 2010 will be presented with a "Certificate Present to First Passengers". The holders of these certificates will be granted the right for one-way free airfare (passengers pay airport taxes only) either from Chisinau to Kyiv or from Kyiv to Chisinau until the end of 2010.

Air Moldova carries out flights in 17 direct directions - Frankfurt, Vienna, Bucharest, Istanbul, Lisbon, Madrid, London, Athens, Larnaka, Rome, Milan, Verona, Paris, Prague, Moscow, St.-Petersburg, Varna.
