OREANDA-NEWS. April 07, 2010. Sberbank considers co-funding the Moscow – St. Petersburg toll highway project, Sberbank president German Gref said.

How much the bank may put up has yet to be specified.

As reported earlier, the toll, 650km Moscow – St. Petersburg M-10-C high-speed road will reportedly have ten lanes at the exit from Moscow, eight lanes in Leningrad and Moscow Regions, and in Tver and Novgorod Regions six lanes in each region.

According to the RF government, a road section between the 15th and the 58th km is being built on a private-public partnership basis and scheduled for completion by 2014.

The total cost of the project is a reported USD 2.1bn.
