OREANDA-NEWS. April 08, 2010. E4-SibCOTES specialists developed a 3D model for Krasnodarskaya CHP plant that was recognized as one of the best at 3D modeling contest. In March 3D models were presented at the conference organized for AVEVA solution users in Moscow.

AVEVA Group is the world’s IT solutions and services provider for design, engineering and project management technologies. Today the most popular products of the company are AVEVA PDMS, a software solution for precise 3D design without collisions, AVEVA NET Portal, a data management solution for engineering companies, and others. AVEVA Group organizes the second conference in Russia where its software product users take an active part.

This year more than 80 representatives from Russian power, oil & gas and ship-building industries gathered together to share their working experience. Among its active participants were Power Engineering Center from Urals (Ekaterinburg), Design Engineering Center Ural TEP (Ekaterinburg), Engineering Center UES – Teploelectroproject (Moscow), KNIPKI Energoproekt (Kiev), DneprVNIPIenergoprom (Dnepropetrovsk), etc. In general twelve companies presented their works for the contest.

E4-SibCOTES submitted its 3D model for Krasnodarskaya CHP plant it has been developing since 2008. In compliance with the project a 410 MW combined cycle plant will be installed at the power station (UGK TGK-8 is the Customer; Group E4 is the EPC Contractor).

According to Svetlana Vykhodtseva, Design Director of E4-SibCOTES, engineers from different departments (heating engineers, electrical engineers, engineers from the Automation Control Systems and Metrology Department) have been working for the development of this model. It allows us to trace the performance results on different stages and promptly insert necessary changes in the project which significantly accelerates the design process.

“Krasnodarskay CHP project enjoys high precision and visualization achieved thanks to 3D models of a heat recovery steam generator (HRSG) and a gas turbine submitted by manufacturers and included in the model,” said Svetlana Vykhodtseva. ”State-of-the-art efficient equipment will be installed at Krasnodarskaya CHP plant: a gas turbine produced by Mitsubishi Electric Corporation and a HRSG manufactured by EMAlliance.”

E4-SibCOTES is rewarded a certificate for free of charge participation in AVEVA solution users conference that will take place next year. According to Anna Pyatova, an engineer from E4-SibCOTES and a direct developer of 3D model for Krasnodarskaya CHP plant, AVEVA users conferences are very important for experience exchange and problem solution and, therefore, for efficient design work.
