Transaero Airlines offers flights to more than 100 destinations within the summer timetable of 2010, a new record for the airline proving the company’s stable development. Transaero continues to strengthen its position as the second largest air carrier in the Russian Federation with constant growth of operational results.

Transaero is currently expanding its route network with launching flights to a number of domestic and international destinations from Moscow and other Russian cities. These new services will boost the share of regularly scheduled flights in Transaero’s total traffic volume which at the beginning of 2010 exceeds 86%.

The new flights from St Petersburg to the Far Eastern destinations are the first in the company’s history on those routes. Another ‘historical first ever’ is the launch of Transaero’s scheduled flights from Moscow to Beijing. To mark the opening of this route, Transaero will offer unprecedented value in quality and price. The flights on this highly significant route to Beijing will be operated from Domodedovo International Airport in Moscow.

Transaero’s 2010 summer flight timetable includes the following destinations:

Regular Domestic Flights

Transaero operates regular flights from Moscow to Anadyr, Anapa, Blagoveshchensk, Vladivostok, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Krasnodar, Krasnoyarsk, Magadan, Magnitogorsk, Novy Urengoy, Novosibirsk, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatski, Omsk, Samara, St Petersburg, Sochi, Tomsk, Ufa, Ulan-Ude, Khabarovsk, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk and Yakutsk.

Transaero operates flights from St Petersburg to Vladivostok, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatski, Khabarovsk and Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk.

Flights from Moscow to Yakutsk and four Far Eastern destinations are new for the carrier. Transaero takes part in the government subsidized transportation program for residents of the Russian Far East cities who are under 23 or over 60 years of age. In 2009 Transaero carried nearly 54,000 passengers from the Far East within the frames of this program thus becoming the largest participant of all.

Regular Flights to CIS Destinations

Transaero operates regular flights from Moscow to destinations in Kazakhstan, including Astana, Almaty, Aktau, Atyrau, Karaganda, Qostanay, Uralsk and Chymkent as well as to destinations in Ukraine including Kiev, Odessa and Simferopol. Flights are also offered from Moscow to Tashkent and Bukhara in Uzbekistan.

A new route from Moscow to Qostanay in Kazakhstan will also be launched this season. Flights to Qostanay will bring the total number of Transaero destinations in Kazakhstan to eight.

Regular Flights to International Destinations

From Moscow the airline operates regular flights to Austria (Vienna), the United Kingdom (London), Germany (Berlin, Frankfurt), Hong Kong, Greece (Heraklion), the Dominican Republic (Punta Cana), Egypt (Hurghada, Sharm el-Sheikh) , Israel (Tel Aviv), Indonesia (Denpasar), Spain (Alicante, Barcelona, Tenerife), Canada (Toronto), Cyprus (Paphos), China (Beijing and Sanya), Maldives (Male), Thailand (Bangkok, Phuket), Tunisia (Monastir), Croatia (Split), Montenegro (Tivat) and to the Czech Republic (Pardubice).

From St Petersburg Transaero operates regular flights to Greece (Athens, Heraklion and Thessaloniki), Spain (Barcelona) and Japan (Tokyo).

From Yekaterinburg Transaero operates regular flights to Egypt (Hurghada, Sharm el-Sheikh), Spain (Barcelona) and Thailand (Bangkok).

The flights from Moscow to Beijing, from St Petersburg to Athens and Thessaloniki, as well as from Yekaterinburg in Barcelona will be new for Transaero.

Charter Flights

Transaero’s charter program will include service from Moscow to Bulgaria (Bourgas and Varna), Greece (Araxos, Corfu, Kos, Rhodes and Chania), Spain (Palma de Mallorca and Malaga), Italy (Pisa), Cyprus (Larnaca), Mexico (Cancun), Portugal (Faro), Turkey (Antalya and Dolman) and to Croatia (Dubrovnik and Pula).

From St Petersburg charter flights will be fly to Greece (Araxos, Kos and Rhodes), Cyprus (Larnaca), Tunisia (Monastir), Turkey (Antalya) and to Croatia (Pula).

In the near future Transaero’s services from Moscow to Cancun, Dubrovnik and Pula will be operated as scheduled flights.

Transaero’s record breaking summer of 2009, with passenger turnover at 12 bln RPK and a total of 3.6 million passengers was the most successful period of operational performance the company’s history. Transaero expects even better performance results for 2010.
