OREANDA-NEWS. April 08, 2010. There is a tendency of growing output of cold-deformed reinforcing coils in Europe today. This material has higher tensile characteristics and corrosion resistance and advantageously differs from hot-deformed rebars from the point of view of its marketable appearance.

Current concrete production according to European technologies involves the usage of reinforcing class В500С material which has new qualitative properties compared to standard types of rebars. This adds new properties to concrete structures corresponding to enhanced safety requirements of buildings and constructions.

At present RUE “BMZ” manufactures cold-deformed three-sided reinforcing section diameter 4,0 to 12,0 mm with minimum tensile strength 500N/mm2 which is certified according to national standards of Belarus, Russia and most EC countries:

class S500 acc. to STB 1704-2006;

class B500C acc. to GOST R 52544-2006;

class BSt500M acc. to DIN488;

class BSt500KR(A) acc. to DIN488, general allowance of the building inspection Z-1.2-219 and DIN1045-1;

class B500NA acc. to NS 3576-1 and NS EN 10080;

В500К acc. to SFS 1257;

BSt500KR(A) acc. to PN-ISO 6935-2.

RUE “BMZ” mastered production of reinforcing steel diameter 6,0-12,0 mm, class BSt550 according to ONORM B4200-7 with a higher minimum conventional yield strength - 550 N/mm2.
