OREANDA-NEWS. April 16, 2010. According to Manager of BBVB Farhad Amirbayov, this year will be difficult.

“We observe  condition of foreign trade and we are not optimistic concerning it  – import tightens. They cannot give prognosis of turnover of BBVB in 2010.  We, for example, waited for strong compression as early as in 2009, but in February to March,  when the population has for some reason decided that manat will be devaluated and began converting deposits to dollars, it gave to us about \\\\$1 billion of turnover. In 2010, it will be possible that turnover in BBVB will amount to 1 billion,” F. Amirbayov said.

At that, the Exchange does not have reserve for growth of turnover in 2010.

“I do not see prospects of operations with euro or roubles. As a result, we will comprehend happening  events and to think, where to move further. There are no new tools, but it is necessary to search new directions for development,” F. Amirbayov said.

In 2010, so far currency turnover of the Exchange has not taken mark of USD300 million as well.
