OREANDA-NEWS. April 16, 2010. ROSNO’s Siberian Directorate has concluded several large insurance contracts with OJSC Sibmost, a leading bridge construction company in Siberia. The insurance coverage has been provided to the company’s employees (voluntary medical insurance) and vehicle drivers (OMTPL), and also for the construction and assembly works performed by OJSC Sibmost at the first stage of the Omsk — Novosibirsk highway. The aggregate contractual insurance amount is 6,276,720,000 roubles, reported the press-centre of ROSNO.

IC ROSNO has insured the construction and assembly works performed by OJSC Sibmost under the state construction contract at the 26.5 km long second stage of the northern bypass of the city of Novosibirsk1. The insurance amount under the contract for insurance coverage of construction and assembly works is 6 bn roubles, with the insurance period of 5 years.

Under the VMI contract, the medical assistance is guaranteed to 150 company employees for the total amount of 76.72 mln roubles. The insurance program covers outpatient treatment, including home visit by doctor, dental aid, and hospital treatment. Medical services to the insurants will be provided by the best clinics of Novosibirsk and the Novosibirsk region.

Under the general contract for insurance coverage of motor third party liability, OMTPL policies have been provided to drivers of 500 transport vehicles owned by OJSC Sibmost. The aggregate contractual insurance amount is 200 million roubles.

1 The northern bypass of the city of Novosibirsk, representing the first construction stage of the Omsk — Novosibirsk highway at the section between the village Prokudskoye and the township Sokur, with bridge overpass via the Ob river near the township Krasny Yar is the largest and most important regional road construction project. The commissioning of the northern bypass will relieve city exits and enable unimpeded transit transport flow via the West-East international transport corridor. The overall length of this highway section equals 76.36 km. This project is being implemented under the program "Modernization of the Russian transport system for the years 2002 to 2010", subprogram "Highways".
