OREANDA-NEWS. April 19, 2010. To protect its customers from possible attempts of fraudsters to use online customer payment card data for illegal actions, Trasta komercbanka has developed an additional security solution, reported the press-centre of TKB.

Those TKB payment cards, which have not been registered for SecureCode password yet, as well as all newly issued bank cards from 15 April 2010 will be awarded a one-time MasterCard SecureCode password, generated automatically, which the cardholder will have to register in the Internet bank Trast.Net. This password will be now required to make a payment for shopping online. Receiving of the password is free of charge.

MasterCard® SecureCode™  is an international security service, which helps to protect the payment cards issued by TKB and their data from unauthorized use when shopping on the Internet, and most internet merchants are involved in the SecureCode system introduced by MasterCard.

To register a permanent SecureCode password, please visit the Internet bank Trast.Net Section "Banking operations - Payment Cards - SecureCode registration”. Registration for a password will take only a few seconds and will not cost you anything. For any questions regarding the service contact your Private Banker or specialists of TKB Infocentre at (371) 67027777.
