OREANDA-NEWS. April 19, 2010. RosBusinessConsulting News Agency published the rating of the largest Russian banks in lending of small- and medium-sized enterprises in 2009. OAO AIKB Tatfondbank ranks 9th., reported the press-centre of Tatfondbank.

According to the agency, the last year the Bank issued over 840 loans to small- and medium-sized businesses for a total amount of over RUR 18.4 billion.

‘The rating by RBC once again shows that Tatfondbank is one of the largest banks in the SME lending market. The RBC analysts note that the volumes of loans issued by banks to small- and medium-sized businesses have reduced significantly the last year. On this background, the growth of lending on the part of Tatfondbank by over 15% in the year 2009, which was the year of crisis for the country, is a good result’, said Elza Farrukhshina, Head of Department for Support of Credit Operations of OAO AIKB Tatfondbank, commenting on the results of the rating.

This year, Tatfondbank plans to increase its portfolio of loans to SMEs by a third, up to RUR 13.3 billion, while the total loans to be issued in 2010 should reach RUR 23.8 billion.
