OREANDA-NEWS. April 19, 2010. COMSTAR – United TeleSystems (COMSTAR-UTS, LSE: CMST), the leading operator of integrated telecom services in Russia and the CIS, entered the list of 160 Russian companies having the highest value according to Finance magazine.

In 2010 Finance magazine annual rating defined lower rib of the most valuated companies cost as USD 1 bn. COMSTAR-UTS became fifth among telecommunication companies, and public fixed-line operator having the highest value in Russia. According the magazine experts’ assessment, COMSTAR-UTS capitalization for the 2nd of April 2010 amounted to 85,5 bn. Rbs., or USD 2,9 bn.

OJSC MGTS, included into COMSTAR-UTS Group of companies, also entered the rating of the largest companies due to the volume of market capitalization, and became eighth in the industry.
