OREANDA-NEWS. April 19, 2010. ALIDI, leading Russian provider of distribution and logistic services, exhibited at SITL Europe 2010, annual international exhibition of transport and logistics. Company was represented by Petr Demchenkov, General Director at ALIDI Group, Aleksandr Safonov, Operational Director, Ekaterina Tulupova, Deputy Commercial Director and Julia Golubeva, PR manager.

On 27 International Week of transport and logistics Russia and France were at the crossroads. SITL Europe 2010 put Russia in a place of honour through a conference sessions and exhibitors on a Russian pavilion.

Forum was attended by representatives of the Russian Government: Sergey Ivanov, First Deputy Prime Minister, and Igor Levitin, Russian Transport Minister. They paid special attention to the Russian exposition, where ALIDI’s stand was represented.

Besides the exposition ALIDI was a participant of the Plenary conference “Doing logistics in Russia”: Petr Demchenkov took part in this event as a speaker. His presentation was dedicated to trends and opportunities of the Russian logistic market, he also told about the 17-th year ALIDI experience in this sphere. After his speech many visitors and speakers attended ALIDI stand to get more information about the company. In total during 4 days 250 people visited ALIDI stand at the exposition. SITL 2010 gave ALIDI possibility to hold negotiations with manufacturing and logistic companies and to exchange contacts in order to continue further discussion of the cooperation.

“Exhibiting at SITL Europe 2010 we aimed at developing the partnership with European companies in order to enter the Moscow market of contract logistics.” – said Peter Demchenkov. –The event helped us to make our opinion on the situation in the European logistic market. So we now better understand how to develop cooperation with the European companies.
