OREANDA-NEWS. April 22, 2010. TNK-BP announced that it allocated in excess of 300 mln rubles for corporate training programs in 2009. In particular, the company allocated around 200 mln rubles, or more than 11,000 rubles on a per capita basis, for the development of technical skills and new technologies in corporate training which makes of TNK-BP a leader in this field in the Russian oil and gas industry, reported the press-centre of TNK-BP.
    
In 2009, more than 7800 employees of the Group took part in target and individual training programs for various categories of employees, nearly 10 000 employees took courses in the framework of internal corporate programs. The company’s employees received a total of 480 000 hours of corporate training programs, which is 2.5 times more than in 2008.   

“We are committed to forming a highly qualified team of specialists and management who are able to ensure the competitiveness of our company in various aspects of its activities. To this end we intend to continue developing and applying corporate learning and training programs across the whole organization”, said Adrey Yanovsky, Vice President, Human Resources and Organizational Development, TNK-BP.
