OREANDA-NEWS. April 22, 2010. Belarus-based OAO Brestskoe Pivo brewery’s output increased 2.2% year-on-year in January-March 2010 in value terms to 12.497 billion Belarusian rubles (Br), whereas beer production fell 7% in volume terms to 463,000 decaliters, a representative in the company told.

In March, beer production decreased 7% to 160,000 decaliters.

Output of soft drinks decreased 16% to 63,000 decaliters, and grape wine output decreased 21% to 15,000 decaliters.

Mineral water output went down 37% to 640,000 decaliters.

Fruit wine production increased 46% to 138,000 decaliters.

Brestskoe Pivo was founded in 1967 and transformed into a joint-stock company with a state stake of 85%. (Br2,980 - USD 1)
