OREANDA-NEWS. April 28, 2010. Edward Stroon, ITE Group’s director and exhibition-conference organizer, says that Caspian Oil&Gas will be the first exhibition to be conducted in the new exhibition complex.

“That will enable to draw more attention of world economic community to Azerbaijan. Baku is the centre of the Caspian region and new exhibition complex Baku Expo Center conforming to all the requirements will promote to transfer of the Azerbaijani capital into the centre of exhibition industry,” Mr. Stroon said.

This is the 17th exhibition to be held in Baku from 1 to 4 June.

The Ministry of Industry & Energy and the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) provide official support. The exhibition organizers are the ITE Group and its partner in the Caucasus, Iteca Caspian, together with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Azerbaijan Republic.

Baku Expo Center was designed and built in accordance with high international standards and is intended for holding exhibitions of international level. Centre floor space is 33.8 sq m.
