OREANDA-NEWS. April 30, 2010. Transmashholding (TMKH) sold its share in Bezhitskaya Steel (Bryansk) to drive it to zero from 100%, the company informed.

Transmashholding involves entities working in the sector of the railway engineering, diesel generators production, and providing the repair and servicing of the products.

It involves Novocherkassky Locomotive Plant, Bryansky Engineering Plant, Kolomensky Plant, Penzadieselmash, Bezhitsky Steel Making Plant, Tverskoy Wagon Plant, Demikhovsky Engineering Plant, Metrovagonmash, Oktyabrsky Repair Plant, Tsentrosvarmash, Transconverter (JV with Siemens AG); KMT Production Firm, Transmashholding Bombardier Transportation (Industrial) Rus (JV with Bombardier Transportation); Transmashholding Bombardier Transportation (Engineering) Rus (JV with Bombardier Transportation).

The 2008-net profit (RAS) gained 1.689bn rub. or 6.1 fold higher prior year figures - 275.519mln rub; revenues being up to 61.872bn rub. from 45.195bn rub. prior year.

The share capital is worth 1.115bn rub. split in 1115215 common stocks of 1ths rub. par.

100% are held by The Breakers Investments B.V. (Netherlands).
