OREANDA-NEWS. May 4, 2010. Belarus’ imports of beer increased 11.8% on the year in January-February 2010 to 1.642 million decaliters, amounting to USD 8.08 million, up 6.9% in value terms, according to food concern Belgospischeprom.

Russian beer imports went up 6% on the year in January-February to 930,700 decaliters worth USD 5.12 million, up 2.1%, while Ukrainian beer imports increased 17% to 679,500 decaliters to the amount of USD 2.561 million, up 12.1%.

Imports of Czech beer reached 3,800 decaliters, up 4.7%, worth USD 94,200, up 7.3%. Imports from Germany fell 9.1% to 1,600 decaliters worth USD 48,900, down 5.4%, and from Ireland reached 1,400 decaliters, up 2.9%, worth USD 22,300, down 51.9%.
