OREANDA-NEWS. May 06, 2010. As it was informed at the National Bureau of Statistics, the majority of the fixed assets, issued to lease in 2009, accounted for vehicles - 90%, amounting to 370.8 million leis, including cars-85% (15 million leis).

The buildings and special structures in the total amount available in leasing of the fixed assets in 2009 made 2.3% totaling 9,5 million leis as compared to 28.8 million leis the year before. Acquisition of leased machinery and equipment amounted to 30.7 million leis (7.4% of the total available leasing fixed assets) compared to 103,1 million leis in 2008, The share of other fixed assets is 1.5 million lei (0.4%) vs. 9,4 million lei the previous year.

The leaders in leasing assets provided are leasing companies: Euroleasing, MAIB Leasing, Raiffeisen Leasing, Total Leasing, Top Leasing, which provided 60% of the total value of assets available for lease. In 2008, the leaders were Express Leasing, Euroleasing, MAIB Leasing, Raiffeisen Leasing, Total Leasing, which provided 67% of the total value of the fixed assets available for lease. In 2009, the basic leasing instruments provided amounted to 278.4 million leis, or 68% of the total assets available for leasing (in 2008 - 691.4 million leis, or 55.5%).

The share of the fixed assets over five years decreased from 8,5% in 2008 up to 0,3% in 2009. In 2009, the accrued benefits fell by 10% compared with 2008, reaching 948 million lei. The compensation cost of purchasing fixed assets accounted for 76% of the total amount assessed on the leasing contracts, and interest on financial loans amounted for 19%. In 2009, 24 leasing companies operated at the Moldavian market.
