According a report from the Transport Clearing House, in QI 2010 UTair Aviation continued to lead the Russian domestic airline industry in the number of passengers on domestic routes. In the first three months of this year, UTair transported a total of 889,042 passengers, 64.1% more than for the same period in 2009.

The source of UTair's passenger traffic growth is primarily based on the airlines developing route network, opportunities provided by the company's largest hub at Vnukovo International Airport, its fleet of modern long-range and regional aircraft and the operator's flexible tariff policy. UTair's pre-flight passenger service quality and reliable onboard service has generated a high level of client satisfaction and UTair's passenger loyalty program is one of the most comprehensive in the industry. UTair's progressive operational results and customer satisfaction have been achieved through the sustained operational excellence of UTair professionals in all the airline's divisions and departments.

According to the UTair operational forecast for 2010, the airline planes and helicopters will have logged a total of 300 thousand flight hours. More than 100 aircraft and 200 helicopters of various types and classes will be involved in realization of the company’s operations program. In 2010, the airline expects to serve more than 4.8 million passengers, 34% more than in 2009. Helicopter operations in Russia and eleven foreign countries are expected to see an annual increase of 3.8%.
